All the finishes we use are UV-cured and water-based. Our beds are made from cabinet-grade Baltic Birch plywood, which is certified for formaldehyde emissions below 0.05 parts per million. Under normal circumstances, the concentration of formaldehyde will not exceed World Health Organization standard of 0.1 mm and will be far below the occupational Exposure Standard of 1.0 ppm on a time-weighted average.
