Our YouLift beds are made from real wood and, therefore, are strong and sturdy and meant to last for years. Keep in mind, however, that the bed is designed to be manually lifted and lowered. Because it is made from real wood and there will be a mattress added, that is going to be heavy. If you are okay with the chore of lifting and lowering each day, then the bed can certainly withstand the use.
TheYouLift Bed will always need to be operated with two able-bodied adults and it's never recommend to lift alone. Due to the weight of the bed, it's never recommended that pregnant woman and children operate the bed.
