The Shelf Kit is an add-on to the Lori Bed. On vertical queen and vertical twin beds, it includes two stay-level shelves, one upper and one lower. On horizontal queen and horizontal twin beds, it includes just one stay-level shelf (because of space constraints). Both kits also include a stronger set of pistons to accommodate the weight of the added components. The mounting points for the stay-level shelves are already included on every Lori Bed, so you can buy the Shelf Kit at the same time you purchase your Lori Bed (and save some money), or add it anytime in the future.
