Assembling the Lori Bed is designed to be straightforward and can typically be completed in 4 to 6 hours, depending on your experience, tools, and how many people help. For a smoother assembly, we recommend having two people, as this will make handling the bed’s components easier. Here’s a summary of the steps:

- Prepare Your Space Ensure you have enough space to work, and position yourself near where the bed will be installed. We recommend placing something like cardboard on the floor to protect both the surface and the bed during assembly.
- Gather Your Tools You will need a Phillips head screwdriver, power drill with variable-speed settings, Allen keys and Wrench (which are included in the kit), a stud finder, and a level. All necessary hardware, including bolts, screws, and connectors, will be provided in the assembly kits.
- Assemble the Cabinet Begin by assembling the wood cabinet.
- Mount to the Wall Proper wall anchoring is critical for safety.
- Install the Platform The platform is a combination of metal and wood parts.
- Add Optional Kits If you have purchased a shelf kit or home office kit, follow the additional assembly instructions for those add-ons. These kits include desk panels, shelf legs, and other components that are added to the platform.
- Final Adjustments and Safety Checks After assembly, adjust the leveling feet to ensure the bed is perfectly level. Install the mattress straps and secure the comfort slats for optimal support. Double-check all fasteners and ensure everything is tightly secured before using the bed.
