Does the Lori Bed Need to Be Anchored to the Wall?

For safety, the Lori Bed must be anchored to the wall. However, we’ve designed the process to be as simple as possible.

Anchoring Requirements:

  • The bed attaches to the wall using a rear mounting plate secured in three places.
  • No need to screw into the floor or remove baseboards—unlike many competitors.
  • We provide screws for wood and metal studs.
  • The Lori Bed cannot be mounted to drywall alone.

Anchoring to Masonry or Concrete Walls

  • If your wall is masonry, brick, or concrete, you’ll need to supply the appropriate anchors for your specific wall type.
  • If your wall has masonry under the drywall, special anchors or installation techniques may be required for a secure fit.

Need Help with Installation?

If you're unsure about securing the bed to your wall type, we recommend consulting a reputable contractor. They can assess your wall, recommend the right anchors, and ensure a safe and secure installation.
