Can I use the YouLift Bed for my rental property or Airbnb?

The YouLift Bed can be a great solution for rental properties or Airbnb, offering both space-saving functionality and additional sleeping options. However, there are a few important factors to consider before deciding if the bed is the right fit for your space.

  1. Durability and Operation Our beds are made from real wood, making them strong, sturdy, and designed to last for years. Unlike Murphy beds with costly lifting mechanisms, the YouLift Bed is manually operated. As a result, it will feel heavy due to the real wood construction and the added weight of the mattress. The bed must always be operated by two able-bodied adults, and we strongly advise against operating it alone. For safety, pregnant women and children should not operate the bed.
  2. Guest and Staff Safety It’s crucial that your guests and cleaning staff understand the weight of the bed and the absence of a lifting mechanism. For safety reasons, we recommend opening and closing the bed before guests arrive. Additionally, using a safety hasp lock with a padlock to secure the bed is advised, ensuring it’s only opened by the property owner or someone present to assist. We also recommend posting clear signage for your guests and cleaning staff, outlining safe procedures for opening and closing the bed.
