Great question! Our YouLift Beds are made from European Poplar plywood and meet strict formaldehyde emissions standards. The plywood is certified for formaldehyde emissions below 0.05 parts per million (ppm).
How Does This Compare to Safety Standards?
- The World Health Organization (WHO) standard for indoor air quality is 0.1 ppm, and our beds stay well below this level under normal conditions.
- The Occupational Exposure Standard for formaldehyde is 1.0 ppm on a time-weighted average, meaning our beds are far below even workplace exposure limits.
- Additionally, all finishes used on our beds are UV-cured and water-based, ensuring a safe and low-emission product.
