How heavy is the YouLift Bed to lift?

The YouLift Bed is designed to operate manually without the need for an expensive lifting mechanism, making it a more cost-effective option. However, compared to beds with mechanical lifting systems, it will feel heavier. Since it is made from real wood, you and your partner will be supporting one end of the platform and mattress when lifting and lowering the bed.

For safe operation, the YouLift Bed requires two able-bodied adults to lift and lower it. We strongly recommend against attempting to lift it alone, and proper posture and lifting techniques (using your legs) are key to safety. Due to the bed’s weight, we also advise that pregnant women and children avoid operating the bed.

To make lifting and operating the bed easier, we highly recommend pairing the YouLift Bed with the YouLift Mattress. It’s designed to be lightweight yet comfortable, making it the perfect match for smooth and easy operation.
