The Lori Beds Shipping Protection Program offers customers an added layer of security against shipping-related damages and losses caused by third-party carriers like FedEx. By opting into this program at checkout, customers ensure that Lori Beds will cover the cost of replacing damaged or lost parts due to carrier mishandling, while also expediting the claims process.

Eligibility & Coverage

By purchasing shipping protection, customers receive the following benefits:

  • Replacement of Damaged Parts: If any part of the bed is damaged during transit, Lori Beds will provide a replacement part at no additional cost.
  • Coverage for Lost Shipments: If a shipment is lost in transit and confirmed as undelivered by the carrier, Lori Beds will send a replacement at no charge.

Exclusions & Limitations

This program does not cover the following:

  • Damage or loss after delivery: Once the package is marked as delivered by the carriers tracking, the responsibility shifts to the customer. This includes theft, accidental damage, and improper storage.
  • Installation-related damage: Any damage occurring during assembly or installation is not covered under the program. Customers are responsible for following the provided instructions and handling all parts carefully.
  • Incorrect address or delivery refusal: If a package is returned due to an incorrect shipping address provided by the customer or if the customer refuses delivery, replacements will not be covered.
  • Opt-Out Policy: Customers who do not opt into the Shipping Protection Program at checkout are responsible for any damages or losses caused by third-party carriers. Lori Beds will not provide free replacements under these circumstances.

How to File a Claim

To request a replacement under the Shipping Protection Program, customers must:

  1. Report the issue within 10 days of delivery by contacting our customer support team.
  2. Fill out our Claims Form: Provide a description and clear photos of the damage, including close-ups of the affected parts and a photo of the shipping label on the box.
  3. For lost shipments, allow for the carrier’s investigation period before a replacement is issued.
  4. Replacement Process: Lori Beds will ship replacement parts or unit at no additional cost once the claim is verified.

Cost & Opt-In

  • The shipping protection fee is calculated based on the total order value and will be displayed at checkout.
  • This program is optional, and customers must actively opt in during checkout. If the program is not selected, Lori Beds is not responsible for replacing lost or damaged parts due to third-party shipping issues.
